As a first time mom, the entire preparing-for-baby stage was fun but quite overwhelming at times. If I’m being honest, building out my registry and trying to figure out how baby registries even work was hands-down the biggest stressor for me (if you’re an avid story-watcher of mine then you already know this, haha). I’m excited to be partnering with Target to share my learnings and Target baby registry perks + must-haves with y’all! Registry Must-Haves
I have already been able to use some of my exclusive Target Circle deals to save on our favorite essentials like WaterWipes! These wipes were the #1 recommendation from our TBOTB community and I’m so glad we went this route; they’re unscented which is great on sensitive baby skin and they work so well!
Another tip I received from our community – one I will forever be grateful for – was to bring our preferred formula to the hospital with us. Now having been through it, you never know what your delivery and feeding journey may be, so it’s nice to be as prepared as possible. When my feeding “plan” (LOL – IYKYK) didn’t go my way, it was nice to still feel empowered and confident in the milk we were able to provide for our baby. We chose to use Bobbie formula after hearing rave reviews from friends, and Haysie girl liked the Comotomo bottles best when we started bottle feeding.
Something we’ve loved having in our home is the Hatch Rest. It’s light and easy to move back-and-forth while we’re still having Hayes sleep in our room, and provides amazing white noise and subtle light (when needed) during the night. I love that we can customize the “mood” via the app, and even add in lullabies! Definitely a must for your Target registry.
The simplest, most versatile item we registered for are these muslin swaddle blankets. Not only are they soft and cozy, but we’ve used them for everything from swaddle baths to blocking Hayes’ delicate skin during the intense Texas summer! There’s a ton of uses for blankets like these. Bonus: they make for cute decor around the nursery or as filler in a gift basket.
It’s no news to us TBOTB girlies that Target is the GOAT when it comes to all of life’s essentials (& really cute clothes), and baby must-haves are no different.
