Teacher Friendly Outfits for Spring

This year is WEIRD to be a teacher. Some of us are still working fully from home, some are at school but doing virtual learning, and if you’re like me, you’re at school managing both in person and online learning at the same time. Woof. The last thing we want to think about this year is what to wear, so I’ve rounded up a little something for everyone here. Take a look at my teacher friendly outfits for spring below, and hopefully you’ll be able to find something you can rock this school year!

For sizing reference, I am a tts (true to size) large top, large bottoms, size 10 dress, size 31 long jeans, and 9 shoe.

Must-have teacher outfit

This has been my go-to outfit this year, because if I’m going to be juggling two simultaneous classes, and get my butt to school on time for morning duty, I need something easy and comfy. Each item is super versatile and can be dressed up or down. The best teacher-basics around!

Cardigan – tts (naturally oversized), basic white v neck tee – tts, spanx leather leggings – size up, pastel converse high tops – tts.

Cozy all around

If you’re still working from home, this classic sweatshirt looks great on camera thanks to the collar and dainty gold accessories, but is still ultra cozy. Why wear jeans if you don’t have to??

Sweatshirt, but make it cute

If you have AWESOME admin like me, and get to dress casually this year so that laundry is easier, live it up in those jeans you don’t get to wear during a normal school year! This look can easily be recreated with non-distressed jeans too, if that’s more your style. Pair it with a fun shoe (my 8th graders go WILD for my new Nike Blazers) to really make your outfit pop.

Jeans day!

These are hands-down my favorite pair of jeans ever. Just the right amount of stretch and structure. I love pairing them with classic tops for a timeless look. Check out the cute sleeves on this sweatshirt!

Pastels for spring

There’s something about a good ribbed detail that I love. While this sweater isn’t truly ribbed, it does have some beautifully raised details that I’m just going crazy over! The color is perfect for spring and can be paired with white pants or even shorts, as we transition into warmer weather.

Classic combo

If you ask me to choose ONE outfit to wear for the rest of my life, it might look something like this. There is nothing more classic than a crisp white top and the perfect pair of jeans. I love the simplicity and effortless vibe it gives off!

Statement sleeves

2021 is the year of the statement sleeve. It elevates the simplest outfit and really stands out. Don’t sleep on this trend!

Comfy work pants for the win

Paperbag waist are everyone’s best friend. They can be hit or miss on me due to my extra-wide hips, but this cute orange pair is a real winner!

I hope these teacher friendly outfits for spring help inspire you to look cute no matter your environment this year. Happy shopping, and teaching!
