There are two things I typically search for when booking a pace to stay: budget friendly and boujee. I want a special, relaxing experience without emptying my pockets…I know you feel me! I’ve been lucky enough to travel quite a bit and have really mastered the art of finding affordable hotels that don’t have you feeling like you’ve lost part of the travel “experience”. I was recently invited to enjoy a staycation at the NYLO Las Colinas and let’s just say they did not disappoint!
NYLO hotels are among my top 5 favorite hotels to stay at; they are decorated beautifully, have friendly staff, and don’t break the bank. The NYLO Las Colinas is conveniently located just minutes outside of downtown Dallas, near one of our most frequented business hubs. The NYLO has a modern-industrial design and features loft-style rooms, easily delivering those city-living vibes! I was happy to see that they have seals on every room, giving you that extra assurance that it has been deep cleaned and is safe for you to stay in.
I’ve stayed at quite a few NYLO locations for both work and play. They have an abundance of work-friendly areas for you to work solo or present to your team. Between their lounge areas, conference rooms, and ballroom, you won’t have any trouble finding a place to be productive.
The pool area is spectacular – they have games, a bar set up, heated pools (kid and adult options) and it backs up to their restaurant, making poolside sips and bites a breeze. Their patio area is so beautiful that many couples have chosen it as their wedding location!
While visiting Kev and I enjoyed making s’mores by their fire pit, sleeping in (made easy by their incredibly soft bedding), and walking around the canals that Las Colinas is famous for. I definitely want to return for a little summer staycation at the NYLO Las Colinas once live music is abundant again. They are conveniently located within 5 minutes of the Toyota Music Factory and fun outdoor dining areas, making it the perfect spot to have some fun!
